Prime Day PS5 deals 2023 – the best Big Deal Days offers available now
Prime Day PS5 are still live, as day two of Amazon’s ‘Big Deal Days’ event is underway. Just like yesterday, there’s a bunch of discounts on games, accessories, headsets, and more to be found. Not to mention a few new first time offers and record low prices. However, rather than trying to sail the seven seas of online sales by yourself, we’d suggest climbing on board the good ship GamesRadar+, as we’ll keep you right when it comes to genuine offers.
Just like the main July event, Amazon’s PS5 Prime Day deals selection is a bit of a mixed bag. Accessory and game offers are almost a given, but the same can’t be said for console bundles, which seem to randomly go MIA. Of course, that could change with Sony’s surprise announcement of a PS5 Slim yesterday, as retailers will want to clear out the now discontinued chonky version. Whether we’ll see imminent price cuts is another thing, but we’ll be watching the waters for something to emerge.
Naturally, we won’t just be focusing on Prime Day PS5 deals, as our main as our Prime Day gaming deals will also feature offers across the board. However, if you are here looking for big savings on Sony’s console, games, and add-ons, you’ll want to scope out what’s down in price right now. That way, you’ll know whether to hold off or pick something up right now, as some discounts can arrive early. We’re continually keeping track over at our best PS5 bundles page, so you’ll be sure to catch even the sneakiest of savings out there.

October’s Prime Day sale midnight tonight, October 11. We’re already hard at work preparing for all the best Black Friday gaming deals, so you’ll want to check in regularly if you want to save big.
Do you need a Prime membership for Amazon Prime Day PS5 deals?
Yes, you will need a membership to access Prime Day PS5 deals, but that doesn’t necessarily mean spending extra. If you’ve never tried the service, you’ll be able to take advantage of a 30-day free trial, and you’ll be able to cancel before any monthly costs kick in.
That said, Prime Day sales are also a great excuse for other retailers to get in on the action. More often than not, big box stores like Best Buy and Walmart try to steal the limelight from Amazon with rival offers, and you’ll sometimes save more money opting to shop elsewhere. Same goes for UK players, as Argos, Currys, and Very are very competitive when it comes to online discounts.
What to expect from Prime Day PS5 deals 2023?

Prime Day PS5 deals will be one of the best opportunities of the year to walk away with a console or some top games for less. With stock finally available, we’ve actually now seen pretty nifty console deals already this year, with prices dropping to just $399 in the UK.
The best value PlayStation 5 deals normally come in the form of bundles. For example, the God of War Ragnarok PS5 bundle dropped by $50 at Amazon recently, from $559.99 to $509. That means you’re essentially paying $20 for a $70 title, and arguably, one of the best games of the last few years. We’re hoping to see more packages like this emerge during the October event, with Modern Warfare 2 and Horizon Forbidden West Bundles effective sitting in waiting over at the storefront.
In terms of games, we often see big releases dip below the $30 mark. Again, Amazon will normally be one to keep an eye on but Walmart has proven extremely reliable in recent times. The retailer’s daily deals and clearance sales can provide some absolute bargains. While Resident Evil 4 and Star Wars: Jedi Survivor dropped in price last time around, we’d keep an eye out for newer releases like Final Fantasy XVI receiving generous discounts this October.
Accessory deals are normally a given, and we’ve holding out for cheaper Dualsense PS5 controller prices this time around. Add-ons like the official charge station normally join in too, and Sony’s own sale featured the dock for under $20 at some retailers. Now that the Dualsense Edge has been around for most of the year, there’s a chance it’ll drop in price for the first time during October’s Prime event, but there’s no sign of any discounts yet.
A hearty collection of PS5 headsets also like to show up to the party, with Amazon slashing $81.99 off the Sony INZONE H7 and $30 off the Logitech G Astro A30 LIGHTSPEED. Many of the best gaming headset options in 2023 play nice with Sony’s console, and we’d suggest keeping a broader eye out for models that aren’t necessarily marketed towards PlayStation players.
